The Botanical Collection
For these works, I dyed all the fabrics with natural dyes, dyes extracted from plants that have been known for this since centuries.
Sometimes, I use ecoprint techniques to create patterns with local leaves, or in winter , when I have no local leaves left, with eucalyptus. The colorants and tannins which are present in the leaves, bind with the fabric to create a tangible souvenir of the local flora.

The scarves with prints from my village would make nice gifts, reminding you of our beautiful fields and fruit trees: Memories of Mettekoven.
